Time_Place_Space: Nomad is Arts House's mobile art laboratory, where local and international artists join minds for a 10-day research-based residency.
Time_Place_Space: Nomad is a research-based residency that will be hosted in regional Victoria in November/December 2019. Up to 30 Australian and international independent contemporary and experimental artists will be selected.
Now in its fifth incarnation, Time_Place_Space will be calling for expressions of interest from artists eager to be part of this leading edge program.
2019 Artist EOIs
Open: Wednesday 15 May
Close: Monday 1 July
Applicants will be notified of results week beginning Monday 5 August.
Time_Place_Space is not like other residencies: it is an intensely rewarding outdoor experience in which artists are collectively responsible for camping, travelling, teaching, learning, researching and connecting.
You won’t be going it alone, though. Arts House provides extensive support to ensure artists get the most from their involvement. Facilitated by a group of expert mentors, participants will form significant relationships, dive deep into extended conversations and unearth new aspects of their own practice. With an emphasis on place and the environment, Time_Place_Space also urges artists to engage with the land on which they create, and to discover its ongoing lived history.
International applicants will be required to seek travel support from their respective country’s funding body if they are selected to participate. Details will be provided to successful applicants.
