QUADRA is an immersive psychedelic sound and light installation by Robin Fox. Four high-powered lasers articulate and distort the space around you. The voltage that moves the light is also heard through a quadraphonic sound system meaning that as you see the light you also hear it. This powerful and beautiful work envelops the listener/observer in an experience you can see, hear and feel.

Quadra is part of Spectral, a one-week season with leading artists Robin Fox, Hanna Chetwin, Jannah Quill, Kusum Normoyle and Meagan Streader exploring the interface between sound and light. Exhibitions by Robin Fox and Meagan Streader culminate in a special two-night season of performances featuring works never seen before in Melbourne alongside new commissions.

Supported by – Quadra was commissioned by HOTA Gold Coast. It is supported by the City of Melbourne through Arts House.
