A world premiere street dance x gaming performance that reworks contracts of embodiment and agency through world-building logics of gaming. GG.

GG brings together motion capture, real-time animation and street dance forms in a live arena where bodies, avatars and audiences entangle.

At the centre of GG is a question of agency: who gets to move, who is moved by others, and who has the power to make change. Drawing from puppetry, gaming and street dance cyphers, the work shifts between control, response and collaboration. In gaming, Non-Player Characters are figures the player can’t control. They are instruments, not agents – designed to respond to the choices of others. In GG, the NPC becomes a site of critical play: who gets to lead, who is being controlled, and what is the experience of a non-agent.

Moving between battle, ritual, avatar and arena, GG transforms the stage into a playable world. Here, game mechanics become choreographic tools, digital bodies carry cultural memory, and performance becomes something negotiated live between dancers, game systems and audience.
