Part live action, part film, GET A GRIP is based on a raw yet refined approach to dynamic physical movement. The art of Le Parkour tests the physical, mental and cultural limitations of human movement as the body meets with natural landscapes and man-made structures in unexpected and awe-inspiring ways.

So much more than YouTube-grade displays of physical prowess, GET A GRIP is testament to the sense of freedom and philosophical transference to be gained from true economy of motion. Through the on-site performance and film footage, Trace Elements demonstrate an art of displacement that will give new insight into the phrase ‘be strong to be useful’.
