Facade restoration
Our house is undergoing a little maintenance
In February 2023, City of Melbourne will commence works to restore the facade of the North Melbourne Town Hall, which was built in 1876.
The works will be carried out in sections, starting on Queensberry Street before moving onto Errol St and the clock tower.
Scaffolding will be erected in February and will be in place for the duration of the works. This will impact the surrounding footpaths and entrances to the building.
Works are scheduled to be completed in May 2023.
Arts House and the North Melbourne Town Hall will reopen to visitors in February 2023, in time for FRAME: A biennial of dance and the rest of our incredible Season 1, which we can’t wait to share with you soon.
