Meaningful relationships often begin with the sharing of words and food.
Refuge 2019 culminates in a feast, and you’re invited to take a place at the table and get to know your neighbours. We all know that in a disaster the people you might turn to most are your neighbours. But how well do you actually know them?
Words Nourish Neighbours is a community gathering, involving storytelling, food and celebrating the rich cultural diversity of the people in North Melbourne. Come as you are, and bring your friends and family, as we share stories and use words to nourish ourselves.
Are you willing to knock on your neighbour’s door and invite them along?
