On Good Friday 2008, Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter join the Australian Art Orchestra as guest vocalists to perform three specially commissioned ‘love songs’ alongside Paul Grabowsky’s stunning chorale passages in an extraordinary contemporary musical experience.

Inspired by the superbly dramatic ‘St Matthew Passion’ of J S Bach, the Australian Art Orchestra’s Passion captures the emotional nuances of Bach’s triumph of the human spirit within the exquisite drama and language of contemporary music
