Make a lei with Vei at the North Melbourne Queensberry Cup.

In this Queensberry Cup crafternoon activity, join North Melbourne artist and resident Veisinia Tonga and create your very own lei – a traditional garland worn around the neck as a symbol of love, friendship and honour.

Using colourful ribbons, along with natural and recycled materials, participants will weave together their own unique creation to take home.

Feeling flash? Style up and show off your lei in the Queensberry Cup’s Fashion on the Footpath parade.
