Grave is an Italian word indicating something that has a weight – something subject to the force of gravity. Young Italian company Dewey Dell explores the sensation of a precipitating body, the slowness of its gestures as gravity brings it hurtling to the ground at breakneck speed. The movement is firm within the acceleration – a motionless moment inside the speed of a body that knows it’s going to crash.
