Arts House Disability and Inclusion Advisory Group

Formed in 2020, this group ensures everything Arts House does considers artists and audiences who are d/Deaf, disabled and or neurodiverse through a consultative process.

Members of the Advisory Group can maintain other intersections with the Arts House program, enabling their input to be deep and multi-faceted across our work and enables this consolation and collaboration to be meaningful.

The advisory group includes artist and writer Fayen d’Evie whose collaborative projects proceed from the radical potential of blindness; writer, performer and arts producer Kath Duncan whose extensive work across the arts sector and key disability programs celebrates the importance of difference; neurodiversity consultant and Artistic Director of A_tistic, Tom Middleditch; Taungurung storyteller, curator and producer Hannah Morphy-Walsh; visual artist and co-founder of Magic Hands Luke Duncan King, whose practice is grounded in printmaking and drawing; dancer, performer and life model Leisa Prowd who has performed with Weave Movement Theatre and rawcus ensemble.

The Disability and Inclusion Advisory Group has been facilitated in collaboration with Arts Access Victoria which is dedicated to an ambitious agenda of social and artistic transformation for people with disability, the communities in which they live and the arts sector in which they aspire to participate without barriers.
