Housewarming in the Media

Robin Fox’s North Melbourne Constellation is featured on the front page of The Age – the artist has expressed his excitement for his involvement in Arts House’s Housewarming after a long year wait.

North Melbourne Constellation is going to be a bunch of lasers bouncing through a galaxy of crystals suspended in the big hall at Arts House. They form an immersive sound-and-light constellation that transports you somewhere completely other.’ said Robin Fox.

The lights are coming back on, one by one, in the arts spaces that give Melbourne cultural life.

After a long period of uncertainty for the creative community, Housewarming will see Arts House throw open its doors to culture-hungry Melburnians for a free program of unexpected experiences suitable for all ages.

Guests can rediscover the North Melbourne Town Hall as well as the local neighbourhood with a series of interactive exhibitions and performances.

Emily Sexton, Arts House Artistic Director, explained that 11 Victorian artists commissioned works tailored to create Housewarming, ‘We’re so ready to reopen and welcome everyone back to help us warm up our home in a safe way.’
